One week ago my little family stuffed a 15′ truck with furniture items and boxes going to my new place and to storage. A mere 4 pieces of furniture came with me; the storage is for my son’s things. All the rest of the household furniture and sundry items are headed to a donation center.
As mentioned in previous blogs, I downsized from a house to an 8’x10′ room where I am boarding. I borrow a desk in a shared office, and also can utilize a 6’x 4′ area for crafts and sewing in the basement.
It is one thing to share a home with family, where everyone understands each other’s quirks and follows the same house rules. Moving into a friend’s home requires adjustments. The home owner’s rules and preferences must be respected. Fortunately for me, my roommate (homeowner) is a gracious and straightforward gal who makes me feel welcome and appreciated for what little I offer.
It’s been an eventful week trying to unpack 3 spaces, little sleep, cooking my 2 nights a week, learning the rules, and running back to the old place to prepare it for sale. God provides everything we need when we choose to live simply and take our eyes off material goods. -COMMENTS WELCOME

Lamentation 3:24-26
I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
