Confused, unsteady reasoning

Believing the pain in my heart

Jesus rescued me from the deep

With people as his hands, his voice

Rarely early and never late,

God is always on time.

Blinded, uncomprehending

Sensing I was spiritually dead

Jesus never walked away

He showed himself to be real

Compassionate and present,

God does not abandon His own.

Deafened, unable to hear His voice

Fearing I’d gone too far

Jesus met me in a dream

Where he said to wait for His time

Heaven is His ‘one-day’ promise,

God always keeps His promises.
