Atheists cannot stretch their minds out of the narrow confines of what they see, touch, taste, etc. Reason is their source of pride. I wonder how one can reason without acknowledging that there is more than what a person experiences?
If a llama shepherd were to tell me that llamas jump so high it is as if they fly, I would say, “How high?” I know next to nothing about llamas, have never met one, and certainly never related to one as a pet or member of a flock. Naturally, I would assume the shepherd knows more about how and if they can jump.
Not so the atheist! We Believers and followers of Christ Jesus say we know God and interact with Him. Atheists call us stupid, uneducated, and closed-minded. But they do not know God! How can they possibly assume the arrogance to know better? At best, they can admit, “God doesn’t fit in my scope of thinking.” At least that would be honest.
Most “atheists” are just using that excuse to behave how they want, anyway. Most have not studied or thought it through or given Believers the time of day. It’s fashionable, it’s easy, and so they say they do not believe in God. Phooey. They’re just lazy.
A real atheist has a desperately closed mind, though. They have adopted pseudo-science (it is pseudo because it dismisses anything that points to God) as the guide for their philosophy. Too bad because they cannot enjoy anything past their perception. They have a meaningless life, and to them one day it started, and one day it will end.
God does not conform to anyone’s perception. He shows us who He is the more we get to know HIm. The minds of those who seek Him through Jesus and the Holy Bible are open and wide. We are aware of things the eye cannot see.

The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God. As the Scriptures say,
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise
and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.”
So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world’s brilliant debaters? God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish. Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe.

I have never expected any Christian to explain your god, Yahweh.
Personally, I consider any god, assuming the are real, should be able to explain themselves.
This is what one would expect of a divine being, surely?
In fact, all I have ever asked of anyone who believes in a god is simply to present evidence for their claim that their god exists.
Are you able and willing to do this for me?

Asking a Christian to prove God exists is indeed asking one to explain Him. The evidence is throughout creation and in the testimonies of people and in the Bible. This is the last comment I will make to you on this matter. I will not debate what you refuse to believe; faith is a choice. Did you read the “helpful word” at the end of my post? It answers why I will not try to use words to prove God exists. I see evidence in nature and in my spirit and in changed lives and in the Bible. If you are actually curious and not just baiting me, I recommend Lee Strobel’s The Case for Christ, either movie or book.

Well, I was a christian and now am an atheist. Our minds are quite open despire the false claims of christains like you.
You have baseless claims that you cannot show are true, so your demands that other acknowledge them is just silly, one more theist who demands people agree with them, and they have no better evdience than all of the theists they claim have nothing.
Considering how each christian invents their own god, that wants a certain set of morals, and who can’t agree on how to interpret their bible, there is no reason to assume any of you know any more about your god, or christianity, than the next. Out of the dozens and dozens of versions of christanity, which is the right one? Any? None? That not one self-professed christain can do what jesus promises per the bible, it seems you have quite a problem.
Unfortunately for your false claims, atheism is neither fashionable or easy, considering how theists have murdered us over their baseless nonsense. We don’t believe in your god since you have no evidence and you can’t agree on your nonsense.
We also don’t “do what we want” since we follow the laws of society for the vast majority of atheists. That you christians can’t even agree on what your god considers a sin, no reason to believe your nonsense.
It’s great to see a christian lie and claim that science is “pseudo science” when it shows that their lies are wrong, but who have no problem using it when it makes them comfy. You are quite a hypocrite.
Unsurprisingly, our lives aren’t without meaning, and we make our own meaning, your imaginary friend and you aren’t needed. That last is probably what bothers you most, that no one needs you to have a good life. And yep, life will end and we will have enjoyed it. You will be left waiting for your sadistic little fantasies about the end times, which will never happen.
Your iamginary friend cnforms to every christians perception, since, again you all make your god up in your images. You aren’t aware of anything that can’t be seen. You simply make it up.

Atheists and Christians alike can get caught up in the “prove it” fiasco. Really now, God is quite capable of proving his existence. The question I have for nonbelievers is why do you expect me to explain God? There is a chasm of emptiness in unbelief- trying to bring God down to human standards of proof and evidence. Faith has nothing to prove; God is beyond understanding. Yet we can know HIm and He knows us.

It’s great when the christain complains that she is being asked to show her claims are true. Unsurprisngly, despite your claims, Nancy, your god can’t be shown to do anything at all. I was a christian and when I was losing my faith, I prayed for help. Like all imaginary things, this god did nothing.
So your false claim that your god can prove its existence is just one more baseless bit of nonsense.
I expect you to show your god exists and you can’t do that, just like any other theist. You are as much of a fraud as any muslim, hindu, etc. It’s always fun when the christian needs to ignore their great commission and say it isn’t their problem.
Happily, no chasm of emptiness, just the lies of a cultist who tries to gin up fear so people will join the cult and give her the external validation she craves.
There should be evidence for the essential events of the bible, Nancy, and your god made repeat apperances and provided direct evidence in the bible. Strange that not it is so impotent it can’t.
Faith has everything to prove when it makes harmful claims. You claim we can know your iamginary friend, but again you can’t show how or that this god even exists at all.
